Release Notes - June 1, 2026

This release focuses on Jackson Hole launch readiness across retail, e-commerce, and front-line operations. It introduces improved retail inventory and accounting workflows in the Portal, a major refresh of the Shop experience with better cart and checkout behavior, and smoother Operator App and concierge flows for staff.

SnowCloud Portal

This release expands the Portal for retail teams that need more control over purchasing, receiving, promotions, and accounting detail. It also improves how product rules and reporting support more complex resort operations.

New Features

  • Adds partial receiving for purchase orders. Teams can receive available inventory immediately while keeping the remaining balance open for later shipments.
  • Adds automated inventory transfers based on min/max rules. Warehouse replenishment can be generated more proactively for store locations.
  • Adds bulk item management tools for updating retail setup fields such as dates, tags, classifications, carryover settings, and related product metadata across many items at once.
  • Adds more structured retail item setup with hierarchy, line-of-business, group, and category filtering to make product setup faster and more accurate.
  • Adds item-tag-based promotional discounting so coupons, vouchers, and promotion rules can target specific retail item groups more precisely.
  • Adds coupon reporting with guest-level usage detail to make coupon performance easier to review and audit.
  • Adds product classification requirements for text prompts and file uploads so resorts can collect supporting information such as eligibility details or verification documents during purchase.

Improvements

  • Improves retail receiving workflows with automatic SKU generation, price tag printing during receiving, and richer purchase-order header details.
  • Improves retail accounting controls with transit-aware transfers, location-specific cost overrides, and stronger GL detail for reviewing transaction activity.
  • Improves return workflows so financial reversal behavior stays aligned to the original sale while inventory can be returned to the location that physically receives the item.
  • Improves retail sales tracking for high-value items by allowing serial number notes to be captured on eligible sales.
  • Improves promotion management with variant-level tagging support and promotion-calendar discount behavior for retail items.
  • Improves eligibility logic for age-based products by supporting age validation against a defined program date instead of relying only on purchase date.

Reliability & Quality Improvements

  • Improves retail item accuracy so variant items inherit the expected category setup and parent products show the correct MSRP in item lists.
  • Improves transfer receiving accuracy so received quantities and inventory totals stay aligned during inter-location movement.
  • Improves label printing output with cleaner receiving-label alignment and support for multiple label formats.

SnowCloud Shop

This release delivers a major refresh of the Shop experience while also tightening up checkout, guest assignment, pricing, and calendar behavior. Guests should see a cleaner buying flow, and more consistent behavior across complex product types.

New Features

  • Introduces a redesigned Shop experience with updated header and footer navigation, breadcrumbs, refreshed item cards, a new payment page, and redesigned account and group-admin pages.
  • Adds a new Pass Benefits page for eligible pass products, giving guests richer product details and clearer variation selection before purchase.
  • Adds stronger account-creation controls with the new login flow, password validation requirements, and DOB capture during signup.
  • Adds a unified payment experience that brings saved payment methods, gift cards, and coupons together on one account page, including gift-card redemption tools.

Improvements

  • Improves cart and checkout guest management. Guests can add, edit, assign, and validate purchasers and participants more clearly throughout the purchase flow.
  • Improves pricing visibility throughout the Shop with clearer rack-rate and discount breakouts, cleaner item-summary behavior, and more consistent payment-page presentation.
  • Improves pass and seasonal product purchasing flows. Snow passes, summer products, add-ons, and discount scenarios behave more consistently across setup, cart, checkout, and confirmation.

Reliability & Quality Improvements

  • Improves checkout recovery after payment errors. Guests can retry with a valid payment method without having to restart the shopping session.
  • Improves cart timing and quantity handling. Better syncing of cart countdowns, quantity steppers, flyout quantities, and line pricing during checkout.
  • Improves guest assignment. Cart summaries, order confirmations, purchase-for-a-friend flows, and additional-information links stay connected to the right guest through subsequent next steps.
  • Improves payment-page stability. Saved payment methods, redeemed coupons, gift cards, and account-page views display without breaking or stacking incorrectly.
  • Improves profile and account editing. Profile updates save correctly and Family & Friends profile actions open as expected.
  • Improves F&B shopping flows with changes to image display, configurable items options pages, and F&B items can be added to the cart.
  • Improves calendar and variation-tree behavior. Unavailable combinations no longer showing incorrect prices, affected pages load more reliably, month navigation remains stable, and valid time slots and item summaries display correctly.
  • Improves add-on and option handling. Maximum quantities, repeated add-to-cart behavior, and add-on visibility behave more consistently across product types.
  • Improves waiver and form presentation. Waiver screens render more cleanly and required-information flows route guests to the correct action.
  • Improves accessibility on calendar navigation controls to better support keyboard and assistive-technology use.

SnowCloud Operator App

This release helps front-line teams move faster across retail, F&B, concierge, and access-related workflows. Staff can create guests more easily, apply discounts with more control, and rely on more consistent product and quantity behavior at the point of service.

New Features

  • Adds guest creation directly in the Operator App. Staff can create a new guest record during a live transaction without leaving the current workflow.
  • Adds open line-item discounts in the Operator App with support for percentage or fixed-dollar discounts and stronger discount classification controls.
  • Adds table and guest-name visibility on open tabs to make F&B and service workflows easier to follow.

Improvements

  • Improves retail promotion handling in staff-facing sales flows so scheduled discounts can be applied more consistently in concierge and operator use cases.
  • Improves concierge ticket-selling workflows. For example, sightseeing tickets can set up to be sold without attaching every ticket to a named guest during the initial sale when that flow is appropriate.

Reliability & Quality Improvements

  • Improves quantity handling between concierge sales and the Operator App so multi-ticket sightseeing purchases keep the correct usable quantity after sale.
  • Improves F&B item behavior so removed modifier lists no longer continue to appear on items after setup changes.
  • Improves access-product validation so active entitlements are more likely to scan against the correct season and product state.
